Warehouse Supervisor

YOUR ROLE

Our operation in Fareham/Hamble provides third-party logistics solutions for a prestigious domestic and military aircraft manufacturer and we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer centric Warehouse Supervisor.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will drive all warehousing activity ensuring operational and customer service excellence to enable an effective and efficient operation and meet our client’s expectation.

You will manage a team of 30 reports, providing excellent management control through effective planning, organisation, and communication to ensure all KPI targets relating to service, productivity and performance are achieved. You will be required to maintain an optimal level of operational efficiency and resources at all times. You will implement strategies to form an operational team that creates, sustains, and embeds a culture of employee engagement and high performance, ensuring operating procedures and processes meet quality requirements and drive performance improvements through LEAN methodology.
 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful you will have proven management experience within a warehousing operation, ideally a 3PL or aviation/aerospace environment.

You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills to enable effective interaction with the client directly. You will also be a strong leader who is able to motivate and develop a team to deliver positive results. You will be energetic and enthusiastic with a results-driven, problem solving and continuous improvement approach.
