IT Manager

YOUR ROLE

To manage IT employees in line with business and IT objectives. Ensure department goals are being met against budget with the highest possible quality.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Operates in a (multi) cluster to global setting and impacts on (sub)parts of the IT organization (IT products or processes)
• Influence into the organization within IT, via key contacts, strategies,
• Supports and manages supplier relations
• Manages team assignments to ensure proper allocation of resources, individual project budgets and high client Satisfaction
• Provides leadership to one IT team and manages individual contributors and individuals, drives the capabilities of the IT team
• Identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the department. Provide mentoring and guidance to develop team members, including training and knowledge transfer. Acts as the escalation owner if needed.
• Owner of the team's discretionary spend including vendor management.
• Manage IT departmental budgets, financial performance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and quality controls within defined areas of responsibility to ensure projects are on schedule, on budget, in compliance and achieve optimal output and business benefits
• mplement and operate effective governance processes for all aspects of responsibilities

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience in multiple areas of business domain and technology,
• Experience of operating in large company or recognized IT consultancy advantageous
• Experience of actively managing internal and external customers and suppliers
