YOUR ROLE


Responsible for working closely with the Compensation and Benefits team, administering day-to-day processes, procedures and analysis.  Excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate who is looking to start their career in Human Resources.  High visibility role with lots of career movement and opportunities within a large organization.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • Assist in the administration and responses to questions regarding the company’s compensation and benefits programs.
  • Assist in the implementation of compensation and benefits initiatives in support of business objectives.
  • Assist in the participation of salary & benefit surveys or submissions and market data analysis.
  • Assist senior staff with HRIS data audits and outside vendors for changes in HR systems or file integrations.
  • Assist senior staff in the creation of merit increase and management bonus budgets for senior executive review.
  • Help identify salary increases and offers that are outside guidelines or practices.
  • Assist in the administration and calculation of Exempt Bonuses (non-sales).
  • Update internal systems to salary structure on an annual basis.
  • Work with management to prepare spreadsheets for bonus submissions to payroll.
  • Create ad-hoc compensation or benefits reports for senior management review.
  • Assist senior staff with the administration of the benefit annual enrollment period.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related fields
  • Must have the ability to work with large data sets
  • Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential documents and employee data with integrity.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, senior management, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Utilizes reliable, consistent research and follow-up skills.

 

Skills:  

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Good organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to generate error-free reports.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
