YOUR ROLE


Our Business Process Excellence team based in Ashby de la Zouch have an amazing opportunity for a meticulous and commercially astute Business Process Excellence Professional who will assess and analyse customer contracts and operational tasks through well-defined methodical approaches.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Business Process Excellence Manager you will analyse data to detect and measure any deviation, define required actions and recommendations to correct, control and sustain operating models through CEVA contract review tools, templates and 6 sigma DMAIC methodologies. Your main areas of focus will be:

 

  • Analyse data, identifying gaps and presenting findings with the principle of delivering profitability improvements through various tools
  • Engage and support regional teams maintaining good working relationships across all functions
  • Support sites in growth and development through the deployment of CEVA’s contract review programme
  • Continuously identify and promote improvements across Contract Logistics sites providing recommendations in re-engineering and improving on existing operational solutions
  • Drive and enforce standards across site activities promoting a culture of LEAN and continuous improvement
  • Promote the highest level of internal and external customer care
  • Ensure consistency within local, regional, and global approaches and undertake and promote training.

 

Data analysis is a pivotal part of this role therefore you will be proficient in Office 365, specifically MS Excel capable of using and preforming pivot tables and macros.
 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

This role requires a business professional who can quickly identify opportunities to promote and deliver profitability and best practice to existing contracts across the Contract Logistics division and provide visibility of defects in a quantified and measured way, therefore you will be analytically, operationally, and commercially strong, capable for forming internal and external relationships across a wider variety of stakeholders.

 

You will be Six Sigma Green Belt trained with a proven portfolio of operational improvements and evidence of analysis design using a variety of LEAN and continuous improvement tools and techniques. You will be a competent presenter able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise format and possess excellent problem solving, decision making and influencing skills.

 

It goes without saying that you will have significant experience of working within an operational environment with a good understanding of logistics and supply chain.
