YOUR ROLE


Our 150 square foot operation based in Corby that provides logistics services to the multi-national homeware and furniture retailer has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, customer centric and people focused Administration and Facilities Manager.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting to the General Manager you will provide onsite support, ensuring the effective and efficient co-ordination of all on-site administration, H&S, facility, and compliance procedures. You will produce weekly and monthly statistical reports as required and liaise with the client and operational teams to collate necessary information to enable timely billing and invoicing processes. You will oversee and maintain on-site personnel records to the required standards, undertake all administrative processes, including payroll, purchase ledger, agency records and processing employee paperwork through HR, ensuring all processes are completed in a timely manner and in line with company policies and procedures.

 

You will oversee, coach, and develop a team of 3 onsite administrators where you will drive best practice and ensure high performance in order to achieve customer service and operational excellence, ensuring any absence or capability and conduct issues are managed in line with company policies and procedures.
 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in compliance and administration management ideally within a fast-paced warehousing or logistics operation. You will be experienced in managing and coaching a diverse team of individuals embedding high performance, collaboration, and a culture of engagement. You will be able to demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships, be a skilled decision maker, negotiator and influencer who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.

 

It goes without saying that you will be IT proficient able to use various systems and MS packages with strong report writing and statistical investigative skills.
