YOUR ROLE

As CEVA Logistics continues to grow, we are seeking a University Relations and Recruiting Manager in North America to create processes and programs to attract university-level talent. The University Relations and Recruiting Manager will develop and cultivate relationships with top tier universities as well as identify and implement innovative ways for us to partner with these key educational institutions, which will be part of a broader organizational strategy that will shape the future of CEVA Logistics! The primary focus is leading and executing all university-related activities that directly support the placement of students into internships and early career rotational programs.  This highly visible position will partner closely with business and HR leaders in the US, Canada and Mexico, respectively, and reports to the Head of Talent for North America.
 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Represent the North American Region in global projects related to university recruiting and entry level program.
  • Support the design, planning, launch and maintenance of internship and early career rotational programs.
  • Oversee budgeting process, event planning and execution as well as performance management of these respective programs.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions with leaders to identify needs, align on goals and objectives, scope requests, and plan strategy for launch, delivery, and scaling.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with target colleges and universities, including student organizations, faculty, and career services.
  • Identify, prioritize, and participate in diversity and university recruiting events.
  • Drive and communicate recruiting calendar and plans, school policies, deadlines, event details, and logistics on recruiting season and general early talent metrics.
  • Identify and build relationships with high-potential early talent.
  • Ensure robust on-campus engagement, serving as a “Brand Ambassador” to build the CEVA Logistics and early talent brand both in-person and virtually. Implement marketing/branding initiatives in partnership with Marketing and Communications and take a thoughtful approach to event management to drive strong participation.
  • Understand data-driven decisioning - track and develop analytics throughout recruiting cycles to analyze and use data for the identification of trends and the adjustments of strategies to improve results.
  • Liaison with other members of the HR community, including Learning & Development and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Leverage external networks and communities to current trends and best practices.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 8+ years of Campus Recruiting experience or equivalent University relationship-related work.
  • Previous experience building and cultivating relationships with multiple universities, building and/or managing internship and new hire development programs for a large, matrixed organization.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (50% domestic travel during peak recruiting season, Sept-Nov and Jan-Mar).
  • 4 year college degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with Handshake and SuccessFactors a plus
  • Executive presence: excellent verbal, written, and communications skills required
  • Strong project management skills and proficient with providing timely and clear reporting of progress, data, and roadblocks.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of taking ownership, thinking creatively, acting independently, and performing tasks with minimal direction.
  • Dynamic and engaging presentation skills.
  • Strong event management skills.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and present data.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills; ability to understand and professionally respond to customer needs required
