Operations Manager

YOUR ROLE

Our fast-paced operation based in Warrington a busy multi-user facility that provides receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch services on behalf of several clients are looking to recruit a dynamic and customer centric Operations Manager. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Senior General Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery and operational management, where you will actively promote standards on site to become a ‘Best in Class’ facility for HSEQ and SCA, driving regular training and development across the site.

You will maintain a close working partnership with both the customer and CEVA colleagues to develop contract offering and underpin contract success. You will manage and direct a diverse team to achieve customer service and operational excellence whilst instilling a continuous improvement, best in class culture to drive the business forward.

This role will be a blend between operational based, directing your team, driving high standards and clear communication strategies and client reporting, presenting, and communicating on contract performance.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of leading operational teams with significant experience within warehouse/transportation operations, ideally a 3PL environment. You will be able to demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships, possess strong people management skills with a mind-set that looks to create a high-performance culture through coaching and development whilst implementing sustainable improvements to drive business performance. You will be a skilled decision maker, negotiator and influencer who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.

Experience of cost models and budget tracking along with strong report writing and statistical investigative skills are also key requirements for this role.
