    WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
     

    • Responsible for planning and management of multiple projects through entire life cycle, executing within framework of approved Statement of Work (SOW) and PMO project delivery methodology resulting in predictable outcomes
    • Assists Engineering & IT teams in design, planning, management, implementation, and delivery of technology solutions on time, within budget and providing exceptional customer service
    • Primary activities include project management, internal and external communications, project cost management, and interfacing with client and internal technical project teams
    • Plans, schedules, and directs day-to-day activities of assigned engagements, records and communicates essential project activity and status information
    • Plans, schedules, and directs day-to-day service calls
    • Directs, communicates, and exhibits exceptional leadership behaviors to manage effective delivery of services and processes
    • Ensures effective management throughout life of engagement as follows:
      • Executes according to established policies and procedures for engagement; ensures time entry is performed per policy by delivery consultants; ensures resources assigned to engagement are available and performing work as assigned and planned; oversight of workflow management, appropriate use of tools and processes to support delivery of services, and in accordance with policies
    • Ensures planning and execution of tasks, activities, and deliverables are consistent with requirements defined in SOW
    • Leads effort in Change Management and development of Project Change Request when new scope is introduced
    • Ensures budget targets met
    • Creates and maintains master project plan; compares actual performance with planned performance, analyze variances, and takes corrective action as needed to maintain schedule adherence; tracks and communicates progress against milestones
    • Responsible for development of Communication Plan to define cadence and content for project meetings, status reporting, escalation management, etc., for customers, stakeholders, and project team
    • Ensures deliverables are substantiated, validated, and provided per terms of SOW
    • Demonstrates understanding of project management methodologies, practices, tools, and techniques; effective leadership, and applies appropriate collaboration skills while working in a face-paced environment
    • Support continuous process improvement
    • Maintains knowledge of relevant technologies and CEVA Service Portfolio; able to understand common industry terminology in support of projects assigned
    • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of CEVA in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors
    • Familiarity with Avigilon, Honeywell, Bosch, Lenel, Genetec, and/or similar systems is required

     

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

     

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s or associates Degree in similar field; formal Project Management training
    • 5+ years of project management experience, managing multiple Structured Cabling, Physical Security, AV projects at one time for multiple external customers, managing vendor sub-contractors
    • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project, and experience working within respective Project systems
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and balance resources needs across multiple engagements
    • Excellent technical/business communication skills
    • Strong technical writing and customer interaction skills
    • Ability to have business level conversation with customers and assist them in deploying solutions to meet business requirements

     

    Characteristics and Qualifications:

    • Physical Demands
    • Must be able to access non-ADA facilities
    • Must be able to access and move around construction sites unaided
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. of equipment unaided
