YOUR ROLE


Responsible for technical aspects around the installation, development, deployment, maintenance, and upkeep of CEVA Warehouse Management Systems and the surrounding applications that make up the larger WMS landscape. 

Support the technical application landscape for the WMS systems that are used by CEVA Operations to provide warehousing and distribution services to our customers. You must be able to adopt business requirements by analysing the processes in consultation with the Functional IT teams, Business Development, Operations, Solutions Design, and the Client. You also need to specify the system development with functionalities, data, and interfaces. Testing software, training colleagues and accompanying clients are part of your job as well.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • Oversee and mentor other IT WMS Application resources in the deployment of one or more projects in parallel
  • Learn, deploy, and support technical CEVA IT solutions to our internal and external customers
  • Undertake detailed project work, including business analysis, systems configuration, product enhancement requests, EDI/API mapping, SQL development, and IT Solutions Design work as relevant to business and client requirements
  • Generate specified project documentation to best practice quality standards, in line with CEVA Project Management Methodology standards.
  • Prepare test plans and conduct system testing, as required, to professional quality standards.
  • Support Systems Integration and User Acceptance Testing for projects you delivery
  • Perform implementation and post implementation support tasks as required by the project.
  • Provide logistics and systems consultancy to internal and external customers
  • Prepare and perform management and client presentations as required.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with Logistics or IT background
  • At least 10 years’ experience in 3PL, Contract Logistics, and/or Distribution Center environment
  • At least 5 years’ experience deploying WMS – Blue Yonder WMS, JDA, Red Prairie, and/or Dlx/Dispatcher preferred
  • Experienced in MOCA and MSSQL development
  • Detailed functional knowledge of WMS systems and their use in Distribution Centers
  • Proven track record of successful WMS deployments across a wide variety of clients
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology and experience with software configuration, testing and information analysis. Blue Yonder WMS Preferred

 

Skills:  

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Excellent and strong communication, social and negotiating skills
  • Fluently speak English, orally and written

 

Characteristics:

  • Comfortable with working under pressure and willing to travel
  • Used to work with multicultural, multinational, and multidisciplinary teams.
