YOUR ROLE


The NORTAM Security Team at CEVA Logistics is seeking a Security Business Analyst excited to learn about Security and the business of transportation and logistics. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure to business decisions, process improvement solutions and meaningful impact on Security operations within CEVA for the Region.

The successful candidate will be assisting our VP and Sr. Director of Security with the day-to-day administration and be responsible for analyzing Global NORTAM Security data. The successful candidate will create, publish, maintain, and communicating performance and trend information for various security initiatives, segments, or functions within CEVA; not limited to financial analyses of processes, and identifying alternatives to promote operational efficiencies, cost reductions, and improvements.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • Responsible for researching and providing process improvement solutions within the security department.
  • Coordinate project priorities analyzing cost containment with carriers, customers, vendors, or internal subsidiaries.
  • Prepare project status reports and executive presentations as needed.
  • Interface with applicable internal and external departments to gather information and provide input on all matters.
  • Create monthly performance reports by region.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2+ years professional experience in Security, Logistics or another fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify risk, creatively and quickly problem-solve and respond practically to business issues.

 

Skills:  

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a business focused, detail driven and professional demeanor
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, customers, and vendors.
