YOUR ROLE


The IP&ES Manger is responsible for ensuring the daily tasks of the operations staff are completed to or above the standards set by Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and guaranteeing shipment files are complete and compliant. The role will ensure all service expectations for Key Accounts are met or exceeded, while confirming all regulatory and corporate requirements are fulfilled, at all times. The position will also encompass overall control of the department P&L within the United Arab Emirates.

 

The position is required to support the business development process by delivering back up support through identifying and preparing sales quotations that are developed at winning and keeping profitable business while also working closely with the BD team on developing new business and farming existing accounts.

 

Close cooperation with IP&ES stakeholders, products and country management is essential

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • To ensure all team generated documentation processing requirements meet agreed KPI’s
  • Ensure team adheres to customer defined deadlines for RFQ responses
  • To ensure Invoices are correctly billed and completed and costs accrued within departmental KPIs
  • To ensure all Data Quality guidelines are compliant
  • Liaise with Carriers and other third parties as required in escalation of issues
  • Daily KPI management
  • Ensuring OFS DQ requirements are met
  • To ensure ongoing and consistent client satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to enquiries, issues and problems
  • To identify and solve issues in order to maximize customer satisfaction
  • To ensure you represent the company in a professional and consultative manner at all times
  • Continuously provide training to all operations staff
  • Effectively lead an operations team, plan and control resources
  • Supports the operations team in all daily functions as needed
  • Maintain on-going knowledge of procedural and/or regulatory changes as well as information published on the company’s intranets, and ensure distribution of information vital to the operations of the department/team
  • Involving relevant stakeholders when necessary for any departmental/operational/ administrative issues or needs
  • Build relationships with freight carriers and maintain rate tariffs
  • Ensures timely invoicing, posting, and accurate accruals
  • To observe all company quality & HSE requirements at all times
  • To be aware of the responsibilities of employee’s in relation to HSE
  • To follow all procedures and reporting requirements in relation to the company OHS policies and working instructions
  • To report incidents and hazards as per the relevant working instructions
  • Conduct interviews with potential new hire candidates, adhere to new hire procedures/laws and administer disciplinary actions to staff when required
  • Additional responsibilities may be given in accordance with supporting a specific department/division and/or employee may be tasked with specific, individualized assignments

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Bachelor Degree (Business Administration or Marketing as an advantage) or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Customer Service Supervising or Pricing within freight forwarding.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience Project / Oil & Gas experience.
  • Experience as a project manager or similar roles in pricing, transportation logistics or supply chain management preferred.
