Regional Continuous Process Improvement Manager

YOUR ROLE


This role as part of an integral of SCS business line improvement efforts, is to work with SCS leadership and SCT Regional operations to drive customer and business performance improvement and change initiative. Work to establish process improvement efforts within the Regional SCT that improve customer facing experiences, standardization of operations processes and lead transformation initiatives. Drive significant process design and process re-engineering work; lead strategic execution, implement industry’s best practices, lead process assessments and enhancements; initiate technology initiatives bringing automation to drive change in the multi-year transformation effort to transform SCS Operations into a ‘best in class’ organization.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Measure, analyze and report SCT operations performance across all SCS Customer contracts, identify improvement gaps
  • Manages and measures internal SCT KPIs and reporting with agreed targets
  • Manages business and customer improvement projects 
  • Supports SCS project portfolio and regional initiatives coordination for the business
  • Manages best practice programs for the SCT Operations including audits, performance reports, improvement plans, best practice training
  • Identification and presentation of innovative approaches to operations and process improvement opportunities
  • Leverage LEAN, Six Sigma or other methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations processes
  • Define appropriate methods to measure and monitor distributed work between primary and smart shore (or back office) locations
  • Monitor customer engagement KPI’s and drive actions to meet and improve these KPI’s
  • Engage with relevant business units to ensure delivery of their project requirements

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, change management and project planning, preferably in a Logistics Supply Chain company or an equivalent position in a LSP Control Tower Operations environment
  • Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Project, Power Point, Word, Excel, Access, Visio
  • Proven ability to create, implement and measure new processes
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, cross-functional, collaborative environment.
