YOUR ROLE


Our Multi-User operation based in Mendlesham that provides warehousing and distribution services across various customers is looking to recruit a dynamic and customer centric Contract Manager.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the General Manager, you will support in the management of multiple business units across our Mendlesham operation by monitoring performance in terms of financial, quality, safety, and service delivery. You will support in the implementation of new customers into the network and secure contract development and renewal through various operational achievements.

 

To ensure that contracts and site operational activities are effectively and efficiently managed you will work in close partnership with on-site operational leads and the client to embed collaboration and instill customer service and operational excellence activities. You will also work in conjunction with two other on-site contract managers to share best practice and actively promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and employee engagement across the site.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

To be successful in your application you will be an accomplished contract manager, who has proven experience of working within a 3PL environment and a strong understanding of warehousing and transportation operations. You will possess strong leadership skills with proven experience of managing operational team. You will be experienced in formulating strategies, producing, and managing budgets and able to demonstrate problem solving, decision making and influencing skills.

 

It goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills and will be able to interact and engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
