Air Freight Apprentice

YOUR ROLE

Are you looking to start your career in the Air Freight industry, we have 2 exciting new opportunities to join our team based in Hounslow who manage and process all import and export Air freight.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Your role will be centered around learning and executing import and export operations which is also a customer service based role therefore strong communication skills are a must over the phone and via email. You will be the link between the operation and the customer, gaining a solid understanding of the site to enable you to advise the customer.

Whilst completing your day to day role you will be studying for a Freight Forwarding Level 3 qualification where you will gain an overview of Supply Chain and Logistics then in your final 6 months specialise in Air Frieght. This is carried out through your work with additional written work to support with one of our providers.
 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Good knowledge of computer skills
• Good attention to detail 
• Organised
• Strong communicator – verbal and written
• Maths and English GCSE C/4 or above is desirable
