The challenge was to improve the overall customer experience, reduce our customer’s workload and costs and therefore improve working capital.
Among a variety of issues we had to address were limited control because of a decentralized set up across Europe, South East Asia, Asia Pacific and the USA. The suffered from Poor Vendor & PO Management as well as no overall view of his global operation causing poor cargo equalization/ cost optimization. There was also limited inventory management optimization requiring a complete reorganization of their processes.
The CEVA solution was to set up a series of dedicated Control Towers to effectively manage end to end operation flows from the main sourcing regions.
